Welcome to the blog of Staja Studios. We are STAcey and JAson Thon, the dynamic duo (self proclaimed) behind Staja Studios! This blog serves as our way to keep in touch with everyone we know, like, and love. We thought it would be a fun way for people who know us to keep up with what is going on in our lives and studio, and a wonderful way for those of you who may have just met us to learn more about who we are.
We would like to bring together our professional and personal lives. You can expect to see pictures from our latest weddings, engagement shoots, portraits, etc. As well as some personal, fine art, family pics, and other projects. In addition, we will be sharing our "Cheers and Jeers", and other random ramblings about whatever strikes our fancy. In the future we are also looking for ways to make things more interactive, if you will. This may include voting for a particular marketing piece, contests, and various other activities.

Wedding Tomorrow


Well, Stacey and I are getting ready for a wedding tomorrow. This will be the first wedding of the year. We have attached a picture from their engagement session, which was a good time and resulted in some fun images. Not only is it wedding season, but we also got our new camera which is really cool. It is officially time to get some sleep for the big day tomorrow. Be sure to check back for a sneak peek of the wedding pictures.

A Brave New World

Hello Everyone,

Staja Studios is happy to announce the upcoming release of our updated website - www.stajastudios.com - along with our maiden voyage into the land of blogs. We wanted to create a place where our clients and friends (photography and otherwise) could stop by and see what we have been up to. We intend to post pictures and other fun items as they come up, so please don't be strangers and keep in touch...

To Kick Things Off:

Stacey and I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are about the week we just spent. We went to Las Vegas for the WPPI convention (images to be posted soon) and came back full of inspiration and ideas. In conjuction with the above mentioned release of stajastudios.com v2.0 (which will be happening within the next week), we have started this blog and have a kick-off slideshow, which we hope you all will enjoy.
